Foil for WPC Wall Panels & Slat Boards

Outdoor-grade recipes where the grain stays put under sun and rain — the hardest test a transfer foil can face, and the application where we invest the most formulation work.

Why outdoor WPC is a different product

A WPC panel on a shaded interior wall and the same panel on a south-facing façade need different foil chemistry. UV, heat cycling and moisture attack the pigment and adhesive layers simultaneously. Our WPC recipes use blue wool 7–8 grade pigments, a moisture-resistant adhesive system, and QUV/xenon aging validation — so a two-year-old façade still reads as fresh wood, not chalk.

Buying indoor foil for exterior WPC is the single most expensive mistake in this niche: the panel itself is fine, only the skin fails, and the whole production run is unsellable. Our buyer's guide covers the audit checklist.

Frequently asked questions

Will the foil fade outdoors? Not with the weatherable recipe — blue wool 7–8 pigments plus QUV aging data, supplied with your sample pack.
What temperature does WPC foil need? Typically 160–180 °C; the exact window is confirmed on your panel formulation during substrate matching.
Is indoor foil OK under covered verandas? Reflected UV still reaches semi-covered panels — we recommend the weatherable recipe for anything exterior-mounted.
